The best-selling three-row luxury sport utility vehicle of all time is back again for the 2020 model year. With a class-leading interior, a refined driving experience, a wide array of safety features, and loads of high-tech features, the new 2020 Acura MDX is a tough vehicle to beat.

At the heart of the MDX, you’ll find a powerful 3.5-liter direct-injected i-VTEC 24-valve V6 engine. The engine allows the MDX to reach a peak horsepower of 290 and 267 lb-ft of torque. The direct-injection engine comes mated to a smooth-shifting, highly responsive 9-speed automatic transmission. When paired with the standard front-wheel-drive system the MDX has an EPA fuel economy rating of 20/27/23 mpg. Helping out the fuel economy of the MDX is idle-stop technology which prevents wasteful gas by turning the vehicle off when it is idling. You can also opt to equip the MDX with Acura’s available Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive system.

Instead of different trim levels, Tim Short Acura (South Charleston, WV) explains that the MDX comes in one known as the Standard but you can outfit the MDX Standard with different packages including Technology, Advance, Entertainment, and A-Spec. If you choose the MDX Standard you’ll receive a power moonroof, power-operated tailgate, heated sports seats with premium leather-trimmed interior, 12-way power front seats with power lumbar support, 60/40-split-folding second-row bench seats, tri-zone automatic climate control with air filtration and humidity control, hidden cargo storage with smart lid, active sound control, an 8-speaker Acura premium sound system, and an 8-inch color display. You’ll also 15 cu-ft of cargo space behind the third row, 38.4 cu-ft behind the second row, and 68.4 cu-ft behind the first row so you won’t have a problem fitting everything you need inside the MDX.

If you opt for the Technology Package you’ll receive perforated premium leather-trimmed interior with contrast stitching, natural wood trim, an ELS Studio 10-speaker premium sound system, navigation, and remote engine start. The MDX A-Spec, on the other hand, adds perforated Milano premium leather and Alcantara-trimmed interior with contrast stitching and piping, heated and ventilated front seats, A-Spec leather-wrapped steering wheel, metallic pattern and metal trim, a red on silver gauge cluster, stainless steel sport pedals, and an ebony headliner.

The next available package, Advance, adds a laundry list of features including perforated Milano premium leather-trimmed interior with contrast stitching and piping, heated rear seats, second-row captain’s chairs which reduce seating to six, second-row side sunshades, a heated steering wheel, and natural wood trim.

Last up is the Entertainment Package which can be paired with either the Technology or Advance Package. When added to the Advance Package the Entertainment Package adds Acura’s rear entertainment system which includes a 16.2-inch Ultrawide Full VGA Screen and HDMI compatibility. When paired with the Technology Package, on the other hand, it comes with a 9-inch Full VGA Screen. With either package, the Entertainment Package comes standard with wireless headphones and rear-door sliding sunshades.

You can get any version of the new MDX in a wide array of exterior color options which include Majestic Black Pearl, Canyon Bronze Metallic, Performance Red Pearl, Lunar Silver Metalic, and more! The A-Spec Package unlocks an exclusive Apex Blue Pearl exterior paint color.
