With the 2018 Grand National just around the corner there is a lot of anticipation ahead of the showpiece event. The race has been won by so many champions over the years such as the mighty 5 time Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Golden Miller. Then who could forget the dominating era of the stunning Red Rum who is the only three time winner of the race.

Looking to more recent time’s one horse that certainly stands out if Many Clouds back in 2015 who carried the biggest weight to success since Red Rum back in 1974. This was a weight of 11 stone 9lb and in the process clocking an incredibly fast time of 8 minutes 56.8 seconds.
