You gotta love Las Vegas – round-the-clock gambling, thousands of strippers, amazing clubs, and now it’s host to the world’s largest bikini parade. Held last week, more than 300 bikini-clad ladies sauntered down The Strip to set the world’s record for largest bikini parade.

Holly Madison, from the reality TV show Girls of the Playboy Mansion, hosted the event. Also at the occasion, Oscar Goodman, the mayor of Vegas (and, we hope, not in a bikini) also announced the start of summer in Vegas. Apparently Las Vegas operates on its own special calendar.

The publicity stunt is an attempt by Las Vegas to pump up its tourism business and tout is famous pool party scene. Tourism was down 10 percent last year, so Vegas could use all the help it can get.
