You know how long your girlfriend or wife spends deciding on what to wear every day? Well, if you add up all that time picking the right clothes it would come to about 287 days in the average woman’s lifetime. That’s right – nearly an entire year out of a woman’s life is spent on her wardrobe.

Experts who study this (why they have experts who study this is another matter) found that women spend an average of 16 minutes each weekday morning rifling through their closets and about 14 minutes per day on the weekend.

According to a study by clothing company Matalan, if a woman is deciding what to wear out for a night on the town, it takes an average of 20 minutes. Deciding on what clothes to take on vacation can take up to 52 minutes each time.

So the next time your woman is trying on multiple outfits, just remind her that she’ll be wasting nearly a year of her life doing that. I’m sure that will help speed her along. Really.
