This Was The First Video Ever Uploaded To YouTube

And it completely sucks.

It's hard to believe that YouTube has been around for only six-and-a-half years, especially considering how much it's entrenched itself in day-to-day lives. Young people can't get through a single day without getting some suggestion to watch. Well, if you had watched this first video uploaded in April of 2005, you wouldn't have expected YouTube to be much of anything at all, other than some lame-ass talking about elephants.

Now, the site is pretty much a depot for videos of cats doing adorable things. We've come so far so quickly.

Now check out the video that, thankfully, wasn't a harbinger of things to come.
