This Food Court Marriage Proposal Doesn't Go Well. At All.

The gentleman proposing to his girlfriend seems like a nice enough guy, so don't think I don't feel sorry for him - I do. But it's caveat emptor when it comes to proposing in public places, be it on airplanes, JumboTrons, or, in this case, a food court. You better be pretty sure of yourself in these instances, because if it doesn't go down like you planned, you're going to look like this guy. 

I don't even know if "humiliating" is the right word here. There's another word for when every person in the room feels bad for you. It's "pitiful." Normally I would make fun of someone for a) meeting their mate in a mall food court and b) returning to one to propose, but not in this instance. 

Just...ouch.
