Like the list and there are so many films out there, take a look at Grotesque and Meat Grinder both stunning and full of gore. I think the new thread should be disturbing films, here I would put Invitation Only.

Where’s A Cat in the Brain? Moreover, where are any of Fulci’s greats? The eye scene in Hostel is based on Fulci’s eye gouger in Zombi 2 (aka Zombie, Zombie Flesh Eaters). There is no Herschell Gordon Lewis either?
The most recognized “godfathers of gore” are not even on the list? Whoever came up with this list was born in the 1990s and doesn’t know dick about horror or gore. What’s next? Kurt Cobain as the greatest guitarist whoever lived?

Wow no one mention evil dead, or anything by dario argento? i’ll tell you the goriest most disturbing thing i’ve ever seen in a movie. its in antropophagus a guy reaches into a girls womb after chocking her out pulls out a fetus and takes a bite of it, now thats gore.

I still think the jaw-ripping scene in the new “Mirrors” was the worst/best. Definitely traumatized me. And to make matters worse, they even sell a full wall-sized poster of it.
