Are you tired of your co-workers with kids who leave at 5 pm on the dot to supposedly go home and have quality time with their kids? Who ends up doing all the work when these parental slackers take off? You – what’s who.

If you want a built-in excuse to take the afternoon off from work, look no further than the ingenious “Office Kid” kit. You get a box full of kid stuff: framed photos, hand-drawn cartoons of “the family” and the like.

For an extra fee you can get a fake doctors note saying your kid has the flu. You can even have your picture Photoshopped into a sports team photo, for that extra touch of authenticity.

The Office Kid’s founders describe the genesis of the product like this:

As 20-something childless advertising drones we were all tired of the frequent excuses given by our coworkers for missing work. From kid’s practices to doctor’s appointments, we all shared a similar story. We were all screwed because we had no kids.

Make excuses, miss work and blame it all on your kid. That’s what being a parent is all about, isn’t it? You can order The Office Kid kit at their website.
