Microsoft is taking direct aim at the Nintendo Wii in the upcoming release of the Xbox, code named project Natal. Natal takes the concept of wireless controllers to a whole new level: the device doesn’t even have controllers. Instead, the new Xbox will be able to detect your body and hand movements to do all sorts of cool things.
We’ll see if Microsoft can actually pull off this vision, but the demo video is very cool:

Is it not called project natal? Pretty sure E3 is the ‘Electronic Entertainment Expo’ the trade show where it was formally announced by microsoft.
