Billed as “A Really Goode Job”, the Sonoma County winery is looking for an outgoing, web-saavy, articulate communicator to tell the story of the great mountain vines and artisan winemakers of California.
Murphy-Goode is following in the footsteps of the phenomenally successful ?Best Job in the World? promotion put on earlier this year by Australia?s Queensland state. That job attracted thousands of applicants from around the world to win a six-month $100,000 contract on Hamilton Island in the Great Barrier Reef to write a blog to promote the island.
For the Murphy-Goode job, one lucky applicant will learn about viticulture, winemaking, Sonoma County and Murphy-Goode wines. You will post dispatches on your experiences on Facebook, blogs, internet videos and Twitter as well as traditional media. You also get $10,000 a month for a six month contract that includes private housing in the heart of wine country, Healdsburg, California.
