Google's 'Project Glass' Will GIve Your Entire Life A Heads-Up Display

Considering that we are pretty much tethered to all the info in our smartphones, "augmented reality" glasses were probably just a matter of time. And who better to provide them to us than Google, the ubiquitous company that has gone from being a search engine to pretty much everything online in recent years.

As this video demonstrates, these glasses work pretty much the way you think they would, offering messaging, weather, to-do lists, and the like all on a pair of glasses about thisfar from your face, which means it will be a little more difficult to say that you never got someone's text. While this idea seemed farfetched in recent years, now it just appears to be the next step in the evolution of consumer electronics. If anyone else was behind it, I'd be more skeptical, but Google never screws up. Except with Wave. And with Google Plus. But just those two. And probably a bunch more that I'm forgetting.
