Good News Or Bad News? Man Enters U.S. With Picture Of Passport On His iPad

Some Canadian dude named Martin Reisch was allowed to enter the US after realizing he forgot his passport, but the U.S. agent allowed him to cross with a scan of the document that was saved on his iPad. I for one have no problem with this, but I'm guessing those who have bigger national security concerns than I do might take issue with it. To me, it sounds like a dream, but I'm someone who is always forgetting their passport. Maybe we can now forego passports and just use iPads? RICH PEOPLE CAN GO ANYWHERE!

Seriously, I see this as a win for technology. Hopefully, if we can move away from paper docs, we can get through a ton of lines a LOT faster.

Oh, and in case you were wondering, Martin was also allowed back into his native Canada with his passport. Don't need a bunch of tech-savvy Canadians here in the US of A, taking all our blogging jobs.
