If the Internet seems especially poorly-researched tomday, it's probably because Wikipedia, in addition to thousands of other websites, has gone dark for all of Wednesday, the 18th in order to protest SOPA, the Stop Online Piracy Act.

I don't really have an opinion on SOPA because I just haven't been too interested in it (I know, I'm a horrible person), and I don't really care about piracy all that much, either, simply because I don't have a horse in that race. I'll leave the piracy protestations to the people who are actually the victims of piracy. (Again, I know, I'm a horrible person.)

If you don't want to be as willfully ignorant about the matter as I am, click this link. I had to use every fiber of my being not to link to a Wikipedia page on SOPA because, well, they're not around today. Instead, I gave you a link that seemed relatively objective. 

Nine times out of tien, I would use this opportunity to take the day off and go scream at traffic, but since we took the day off on Monday for MLK Day (something I DO have an opinion on), I figure that Just A Guy Thing will grace you with its presence. 

Granted, all of our facts will be wrong, but we have the best intentions.
