Didn’t it feel good to finally have a real football weekend with both college and pro teams playing? But it’s not over yet: the season debut of Monday Night Football is upon us and in the first game of the night we get to see the class of the NFL, the New England Patriots go up against the Buffalo Bills.
Now I know there’s plenty of folks out there who hate the Patriots and you’re certainly entitled to root for whichever team floats your boat. But no matter which team you support, you have to admit the last decade has been a good one for the Pats.
It’s the New England Patriot’s 50th Anniversary – and the 40th anniversary for Monday Night Football! – and a funny video has been created to celebrate. It features various Patriots players (Matt Light, Adalius Thomas, Dan Koppen, and Logan Mankins, if you need to know) singing the theme from “Cheers.” Regardless of whether you’re a football fan, you’ll find the video a lot of fun.
