The Lollapalooza Lineup Has Been Announced, And It's Really Big

Not the most helpful description, but when we ran the Coachella announcement a few months ago, there was a clear move towards electronic artists, but the Lolla lineup is a lot more random and sprawling it would seem. You've got the huge acts (Chili Peppers, Black Keys), the reunited bands (Sabbath and At The Drive-In), then you got a whole mess of bands that seem like they should be playing every festival, but for some reason they only play a handful per year. These are bands like The Shins, Miike Snow, Passion Pit, and Florence and the Machine.

Whatever. It's a huge roster, so there will be bands that you really like, and bands that you probably don't. The question will remain: Is it worth it? If you're near Chicago, probably, but if you're not, you may want to chase down a more convenient festival with a million of the same acts.
