Is going to the gym to stay fit just too much work? Want to lose that gut without the aid of liposuction? Then get ready the male girdle.
Australian manufacturer Equmen recently started selling its ‘core precision undershirt’ in the U.S. and will soon be introducing it to Britain. Like ‘control pants’ that millions of women secretly wear to keep their backsides looking good, the Equmen t-shirt squeezes mens bodies into a leaner silhouette.
Made of polyester, spandex and nylon, the Equmen undershirt can be worn under slim-fitting suits, t-shirts, polo shirts, or alone as a form-fitting top. Equmen claims their garments improve the fit of your clothes, improve your posture and muscle alignment, keep your core muscles stabilized, and may even help reduce back pain. All for just $89 a shirt.
To make sure their shirts squeeze guys in just the right places, Equmen uses a process they call “helix mapping.” Developed in conjunction with physiotherapists, ergonomic consultants and athletic garment engineers, helix mapping is a body-mapping system that builds physio taping techniques into every garment to reinforce and support the body’s natural structure from the core.
So what do you think? Are you ready to take the plunge into control tops for men?

That looks like it would be great to wear under a leather motorcycle race suit.

You had me at “All for just.” The price tag is unbelievable *and* unaffordable, unless one wants to wear the same shirt every day. Price aside, though, this looks like a great product.

The cost is pretty high but I’d try it for sure.
