I understand the need for male cheerleaders – someone’s got to hold the hot chicks up at football games. But it can’t feel particularly manly, especially if you’re Justin Short who cheers for the University of Missouri – Columbia.
Short was suspended from the squad recently after he was punched in the nose. By a girl. Talk about adding insult to injury.
Short and two female basketball players were celebrating Mizzou’s big 83-34 win over Texas Pan-American at Short’s apartment. Things got a little out of hand, however, and Short ended up getting assaulted by the two women, with one of them punching him in the nose.

I was the captain of the cheerleading squad in college. In high school I was a big wrestler and football player but my liberal arts college had neither sport. I wanted to be a college athlete and with cheering, I could meett chicks. In fact, I ended up meeting my wife, who was on the dance team, so that sort of made it manly, right?
Anyway, by my junior year, I bench pressed close to 500 lbs and was by far bigger than any of the baseball or tennis players. I was easily top 3 strongest guys on campus.
Cheerleaders can be manly when they aren’t doing all that stupid stuff. Throw the girl in the air, let her look pretty, catch her.
To the guy that go punched by the girl, his idiocy doesn’t speak for cheerleaders; I kind of want to punch him in the face.

Tough break (prob his nose) for Justin.
ps can you correct the school name to Mizzou or University of Missouri – Columbia?
