We’re in the home stretch for Christmas and you’re still looking for presents? Before you panic and grab some air fresheners from the local Exxon station, let JAGT give you a few better ideas. Last week we suggested some romantic gifts for that special woman in your life. Now here is JAGT’s guide for last minute gifts:

When Coffee Met Chocolate, $15.95. The ideal present for coffee lovers, this Seattle’s Best Coffee gift set includes 1.75-ounce bags of their three most popular coffee blends and three varieties of chocolate grahams. When paired together as suggested, the smooth, aromatic coffees perfectly complement the delectable chocolate grahams.

The Herald Angels Sing,” on her first-ever Christmas collection. This is available only at Borders and Waldenbooks.

“Andrea Robinson’s 2009 Wine Buying Guide for Everyone,” $14.95. Choosing the perfect wine can be intimidating. Luckily, noted sommelier Andrea Robinson demystifies the process for even the most novice wine enthusiast in this handy pocket-sized guide.

Restaurant gift certificates. If you have to be lame and buy a gift certificate, at least get it from a nice restaurant and class it up. Lots of top restaurants now offer gift certificates for the holidays. This can be a nice gift for folks who don’t usually treat themselves.

skins
iPhone Skins, about $15. iPhones shouldn’t go naked! There are lots of skins available, but Urban Outfitters has some particularly cool ones in special limited edition artist series.

“The Seven Personalities of Golf: Discover Your Inner Golfer to Play Your Best Game,” by Darrin Gee, $17.95: Leading instructor Gee identifies seven basic personality types that affect players’ golf games, illustrates the on-the-course strengths and weaknesses of each group and shows golfers how to use their personality to their advantage. Any golfer looking to improve their game will be thankful for Gee’s insightful advice.

Mercy Kits
Mercy Kits, around $18. Finally, how about giving to charity as part of your gift to someone? Mercy Corps offers the Mercy Kit which provides the opportunity to share and support a commitment or cause — such as hunger or climate change — with their loved ones while making a fully tax-deductible donation to Mercy Corps’ global humanitarian programs. Each Mercy Kit recipient receives a personalized card from the person who purchased the kit. The card describes a program the donation supports. Cards can be e-mailed or printed, making Mercy Kits a perfect last minute gift. The buyer will also receive a receipt for tax-deduction purposes.

With these gift ideas you have no excuse not to come up with something good, even if it is last minute.
