The renowned Zagat guide has discovered what those of us in the western U.S. already know: In-N-Out has the tastiest fast food burgers in the country. Wendy’s came in second followed by Burger King and McDonald’s.
In-N-Out also won best fast food overall for companies with up to 5,000 outlets. Panera Bread, Papa Murphy’s, Chipotle, and Chick-fil-A rounded out the top five in this category.
For chains with more than 5,000 locations, Wendy’s won for best food, followed by Subway, KFC, Taco Bell, and Pizza Hut.
Next time you find yourself passing an In-N-Out, stop in, order a double-double and find out what all the fuss is about. Mmm, burgers.

Excellent choice (as if there was any other!). One of the things I miss most about the west coast In n Out, and I make it a point to have one first thing off the plane whenever I go back to visit.

in and out are the best……. always fresh and made to order.
no microwaves or freezers also………..

Make sure to get it animal style- it’s on the secret menu- they add grilled onions and secret sauce to the burgers and fries
