I know there are those of you out there who just cannot wait for pot to be legal. Well, whenever that day comes – and yes, it will come sometime – it’s going to look a whole lot snazzier. Forget plastic Ziploc baggies – think sleek product packaging.
Print magazine asked three leading design firms to envision what legalized a pack of marijuana cigarettes would look like. Each studio had a different solution, but all the designs give us a little glimpse into the future.
Lust, a graphic design practice in Amsterdam, came up with a design that looks like a wacked-out cereal box:
The Heads of State, a two-man operation from Philadelphia, came in with this:
The New York office of design firm Base worked with its branches in Europe to create an Altoids-like package for your doobies:
And finally Oslo firm Str?mme Throndsen submitted this sleek design which turns pot into a luxury brand:
