Mondays Wouldn't Suck So Much If You Could Take This Pill On Sunday Night

Do you end your weekend haunted by all the dumb shit you did on Friday and Saturday night? You don't have to answer that because we all know that the answer is "yes." Whereas the technology of yesteryear dictated that would have to feel shame, learn from our mistakes, and become better people in the end, a promising new drug is in testing that will assure us that we will never have to do any of that crap.

The drug is called Meytrapone, and it appears to actually serve to lower production of stress hormones that initiate unpleasant memories. So in a recklessly over-simplified sound byte, "THIS DRUG WILL MAKE YOU FORGET EVERYTHING BAD THAT'S EVER HAPPENED TO YOU."

Or maybe it will just shift the memory to appear not-so-bad when you recall it. It's not very clear. It's in its infancy stages, so you might have to live with all the bad shit you've done and others have done to you until these scientists get off their asses and help us for once.
