MTV has always been known for pushing the boundaries of good taste, but have they gone too far this time? The images here are from an ad campaign in Portugal promoting the use of condoms to prevent HIV.

The images are certainly eye-catching, but is the use of violent sexual imagery justified by the ads being for an important cause? Do you think that the network has gone too far with these ads?

This is definitely out of line — things like this havve actually happened in war zones, http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/africa/3426273.stm

  2. Jon Says:

The first one is kinda fucked up. It conjures up too many memories from past jobs about people getting shot, raped, murdered (Security guard in hospital ER). The other two are accurate, if a little strange.
