You know Twitter has gone too far when you are not only tweeting while giving birth, but you’re also tweeting about your marriage – while still standing on the altar.

Yes, Dana Hanna, from Maryland, recently interrupted the minister at his wedding to whip out a cell phone from his suit and tweet the marriage and update his Facebook page. He also gave a second cell phone to his bride so she can do the same.

“Standing at the altar with @TracyPage where a second ago she became my wife! Gotta go, time to kiss my bride,” Hanna tweeted from the altar.

At least the minister seems to have a sense of humor. “I now pronounce you husband and wife. It’s official on Facebook, it’s official in my book,” the priest says to laughter from the audience. “You may now kiss the bride.”

Here’s all the action caught on video:

So congratulations to Dana and Tracy. Your five minutes of Internet fame are now over.

Is there anything more tacky than tweeting from the altar? Actually yes – getting hitched to a slutty bride.
