Why has it taken fast food joints so long to figure this one out? At Burger King’s new “Whopper Bar” in South Beach you can order a beer along with your burger and fries.

The Burger King will be offering Anheuser-Busch and MillerCoors to South Beach partiers as part of a pilot program. If it catches on Burger King will expand the Whopper Bar to places where tourists congregate like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and New York.

The beer is served in a specially designed aluminum bottle and costs $4.25. But fear not – if you get the value meal it’s only 2 bucks. While beer in fast food restaurants in Europe is fairly common, this is a first in the U.S. I say it’s about time!

That’s kinda crazy but god luck to them. They cater to an unhealth market anyways so it’s no real surprise.
