In a story that's bizarre on a number of levels, a man in Portland, Oregon has been arrested and is facing 10 years in prison for downloading Simpsons cartoon porn, some of which featured Bart and Lisa going at it. (Gross.) What is perhaps more disturbing than the fact that people actually get off on this sort of thing, is that, by classifying cartoon images of children as "child pornography", the government is essentially giving cartoon characters the same rights as humans.

Depending on how you look at it, the man involved is guilty of at the very least, extremely bad taste, and at worst, child pornography. Regardless, the whole affair is one of the creepier new stories to hit the wire in a while. Considering these these images often appear in pop-up ads regardless of whether or not you want to see them, lest you get tossed in the clink while idly surfing the web at work.
