What is it about cats and the web? Kitties rocketed I Can Haz Cheezburger to Internet stardom and, more recently, keyboard cat has been making the video rounds. Now there’s Sockington, a cat on Twitter who has amassed more than 500,000 followers in just three months.
As you can see from this chart, Sockington’s progress has been stunning:
Sockington, aka Socks or Sockamillion, tweets such gems as “watching cat tv in living room OH BOY SQUIRREL RUNS ACROSS ROAD SHOW this is either going to be comedy or horror HOORAY IT’S COMEDY,? and “NOT YAWNING want you to check out these awesome fangs THEY CAN CUT THROUGH STEEL not interested in demonstrating right now come back later”.
Of course, the Sockster has his own website and you can now buy t-shirts with the cat’s favorite tweets printed on them. Wow – now I have definitely seen everything.
