I filed this under "career," beacuse this post is the closest these guys will get to one.
Someone somewhere is always bitching about how haircuts nowadays are ridiculous, and back in the day, simple haircuts were the way to go. Normally, these people can just be written off as stodgy geriatrics who are just bitter because they had to live during the depression, or fight in Korea or something, but this gallery indicates that they might just have a point. Thankfully, this isn't really a representative sample of follicular styles of the time, but whatevs. They're enough to open a dialogue, which is really what Just A Guy Thing is all about.
Full disclosure: That is not at all what Just A Guy Thing is about. Take a look and make sure to tip your barber next time. Also, now that I think about it, Dirk Nowitzki has a pretty decent career, so the first sentence doesn't really apply to him.
