OK, technically this isn’t Ferris Bueller’s house, it’s the house of Ferris’ buddy Cameron, but it can be yours for a mere $2.3 million. The home, located in Highland Park, Illinois, actually consists of two steel and glass buildings with a total of 5,300 square feet and it’s stunning.

ferrisferrariThe house is the setting for the infamous scene in the 80s classic “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off’” in which a peeved Cameron Frye sends his father’s vintage Ferrari through its glass window and into the woods. That is among dozens of crimes recently recounted in loving detail on the web.

Apparently they got that plate glass window fixed because the house is a stunner. Designed by architects A. James Speyer and David Hald, the house is described by Sotheby’s as “an amazing architectural treasure” and we couldn’t agree more. The house is cantilevered over a ravine and the floor-to-ceiling glass windows provide incredible vistas of the surrounding woods.
