More guys might start reading women’s magazines if they were more like Allure. In its May 2009 issue, Allure published a special editorial called “The Naked Truth” that features five celebrities baring it all for the camera.
Padma Lakshmi, shown above, seems pretty confident about her body, and for good reason: “Yes; I like the way I look. I think I look better now than I did in my 20s, because I’m more confident about my body?and I don’t want to look like anyone but myself.”
The feature is supposed to be about self-esteem and feeling comfortable with your body – two excellent goals for both women and men. But something tells me the guys will thinking about something else when they see the photos.
Here’s a couple of highlights:
Chelsea Handler: “My boobs are good. They’re real and perky. Even if you can’t see them, the important thing is that I know about them, and the guys I’ve slept with know about them.” Yup.
Lynn Collins: “Women with confidence in their bodies are the sexiest thing, so I put on my cape of courage and did it. It was quite liberating!”
