Ever tried to pinpoint the most stressful point in your week? How about 11:45 on Tuesday mornings? That’s when scientists in Britain have identified that workers are under the most pressure.

While Mondays have traditionally gotten a bad rap, researchers found that most workers actually get their brain working and catch up on gossip from the weekend on Mondays. On Tuesday, all that procrastinating starts to hit and workers start catching up on all the emails they ignored from Monday. By 11:45 on Tuesdays, workers are thoroughly stressed out from the combination of catching up from Monday and the realization of what a busy week they have ahead of them.

In the survey of 3,000 UK workers conducted by health supplement company Bimuno, over half admitted to slacking off on Mondays. One in 10 even admitted they login to Facebook to view photos from the weekend. 20% of the workers surveyed said they regularly leave the office late on Tuesdays to make up for the poor effort the day before.
